Our volunteer programme in Peru is a great opportunity to get involved in community work and make a difference. We offer the opportunity to volunteer both  part-time (9 hours) or full-time (25hours).

Robin Hood is based on the belief that one person’s actions can change the world if you feel the same way too, then volunteering in Mancora is a great place to start.

Volunteer in Peru, Mancora

Robin Hood After School centre and Literacy program prides itself in making a difference to our children’s lives, targeting the children that need it the most, developing them academically and socially. Being a volunteer is such a valuable and important experience for both you and our project and we want you to get the most out of your experience with us. The activities you can expect to do as part of your volunteer placement in Mancora are as follows:  organising the ice breakers; coordinating sports days; teacher assistance; knowledge & skill transfer; assisting on other associated community projects.

 

Volunteer in Peru & Colombia

Why not choose our dual country volunteer programme in Mancora (Peru) and Colombia -want to make a change and also experience different parts of South America.  This is a fantastic opportunity of working on 2 different children programmes: Robin Hood Project in Peru and our sister NGO – Nukanti Foundation in Colombia (see www.nukantifoundation.org/ ). The dual country volunteer programme (Peru and Colombia) allows you to experience different cultures and approaches to children’s education. A minimum of 2 weeks must be spent in each project. (You may choose to have a break between each placement).

 

Volunteer Donations

100% OF ALL DONATIONS GO DIRECTLY TO CHARITY. No non-Peruvian/Colombian staff is paid for their work. Your donation ensures the continuation of our work with the children in Peru & Colombia

Full -time Volunteers

We request a one-off donation of  US$400  per Volunteer (Duration 1 month).

  The volunteer programme length ranges from 2 -6 weeks; this enables other volunteers to also have the opportunity to work with Robin Hood & Nukanti Foundation. For volunteers wanting to stay for longer periods an additional donation of $300 is requested per month.

Part-Time Volunteers

We request a  donation of  US$50  per Volunteer per week (minimum of 2 weeks). Your donation ensures the continuation of our work with the children in Peru & Colombia.

Interns/ Ambassadors

We are always looking for people who would like to be involved and help our continual development. You don’t have to go abroad to help out. Interns and Ambassadors help is so many ways: improve processes, raise funds,  translate (English to Spanish), assist in the PR of Robin Hood Project.
